Join the Drexel Entrepreneur Association (DEA) and the Business and Engineering Society (BES) as they host Josh Kopelman, co-founder of Half.com, on Wednesday March 11th at 6pm in Stein Auditorium. Josh Kopelman is truly a 21st century entrepreneur, having co-founded an internet information company that went public just a year after graduating college, and Half.com, which he later sold to EBay for $350 Million, as well as an anti-spam company which he sold to Symantec.
Kopelman now runs First Round Capital, a multi-million dollar seed-stage venture capital firm overseeing over 40 companies such as Linkedin, myYearbook, Wikia, and Jingle Networks.
Come to the “21st Century Entrepreneur” to get a chance to listen to the challenges that entrepreneurs face in the digital age, learn networking techniques that work, and the best ways to launch a start-up, followed by an introduction of social entrepreneurs.
Following the event will be networking opportunities, as well as food and refreshments.
