DFA 2nd General Body Meeting!
Missed the first general body meeting for the Drexel Finance Association? Well, you’re in luck as the next meeting will take place this Wednesday October 22, 2008 at 7pm in Matheson 304.
Yes, we know Game 1 of the World Series is that night but you will certainly be out of the meeting in time to see the first pitch!
So ease those midterm-week nerves, take a productive study break and come see what the Drexel Finance Association is all about.
Important topics to discuss include the upcoming event with Turner Investment Partners (as seen below on Ticker) and the brand new Marketing Committee

FUNDamentals of Investment Management w/ Turner Investment Partners
The Drexel Finance Association (DFA) is pleased to host an informative evening featuring three distinguished employees of the acclaimed investment management firm Turner Investment Partners.
In an attempt to encourage more interaction between the students and speakers, attendees will be placed in to one of three groups, and then rotated until they have been to each speaker’s station.

Drexel Finance Association (DFA) General Body Meeting
The first general body meeting of the Drexel Finance Association for all new and existing members will take place this Tuesday September 30th at 7pm. The room that we will conduct the actual meeting in is still to be determined, so with that said we are asking all students interested in attending to meet in the Quad by the gray steps of the amphitheatre. Please arrive promptly at 7pm so we can move the meeting indoors as soon as possible.
We have a full slate to discuss for the upcoming year including:
-Introduction of new board members
-New ways to get involved with DFA
-Upcoming events for the fall term
-New contest ideas
and much much more!
The meeting will feature Mexican-themed refreshments so bring an appetite
We look forward to seeing you all this Tuesday
