Since 2003, the Board’s efforts have impacted changes in the undergraduate curriculum, improved student preparedness for cooperative education and enhanced the level of engagement among the undergraduate population. The restructuring of DSAB, to include class committees, will further these goals in a more targeted way to include issues and interests relevant to the committee’s respective class.

Since its inception in 2004, the Dean’s Student Advisory Board (DSAB) has served as the voice of the undergraduate student population at LeBow, implementing several LeBow events that have welcomed our freshmen, helped students prepare for the co-op process, leveraged the efforts of our many LeBow student organizations and provided social and networking opportunities for LeBow students.
Building on the success of the Board and recognizing the unique needs of each individual class, DSAB will be restructured into 5 separate committees representing each class (Freshmen-Senior) at LeBow. The committees will be called the Dean’s Student Advisory Board Class of (2010-2013) Committee.
Committees will be charged with serving as the voice of their respective class, planning engagement opportunities, and addressing the unique interests and challenges of their class. Each committee will manage their own budget to select, organize, and execute two class events, a community service event, and one large-scale event LeBow event per year. Committee members will be required to attend a monthly meetings and the Student Organization Summit each term as well as serve at the LeBow feedback table.
If you are interested in serving as a DSAB Class Committee representative please click the following link,
http://www.lebow.drexel.edu/DSABCommitteeApplication.doc,
fill out the application, and send it back to Jackie McCurdy at jmm67@drexel.edu no later than Friday, May 8th. Paper applications can also be delivered to the Dean’s Office in Matheson 106.
