Professor Jodi Cataline will be discussing credit cards, debt, credit scores, and the new federal regulations for credit cards.  This workshop will give you a better sense of if you have a “DEAL” or “No DEAL” for your different financing options.

This event is a MUST attend for anyone who uses credit cards.

**Door prizes will be giving out to selected attendees.**

DSAB Hosting: “Demystifying Your Future – How To Land A Great Co-op”

The Dean’s Student Advisory Board is holding its 6th annual “Demystifying Your Future (DYF): How To Land A Great Co-op” event on February 17th from 4:00-5:30pm. The event will take place in the Paul Peck Alumni Center and registration will begins at 3:50pm. DYF will feature current upperclassmen, LeBow alumni, and industry professionals, who will share their experiences with hiring and what employers are really looking for. In addition, there will be opportunities to gain hands-on training with mock interview sessions and time for networking with professionals from CIGNA, SIG, Exelon, Creative Financial Group, Media Advantage, and Parente Beard.

The event is scheduled as follows:
o 4:00-4:30: Panel Discussion (featuring employers and upperclassmen)
o 4:30-5:00: Mock Interview Session
o 5:00-5:30: Networking Activity and Reception

Registration will begin at 3:50pm. No prior registration is required. Please come in business casual attire.

This workshop is a must for all students in  search of co-op, internship, and full-time opportunities!

About Steven Burda:

Steven is currently a procurement and management analyst at the Boeing Company. He has extensive work experience throughout his academic and professional career. Some of his previous employers include Sunguard, Lockheed Martin, Cigna, and Citigroup. In addition he is the founder of Burda Consulting & Co. a non-profit consulting company with a mission to help small corporations, groups, individuals and professionals on various issues.

During the fall term, Chill and Spill feedback gave LeBow students the opportunity to offer feedback, voice concerns, and propose ideas and suggestions for all areas of their college experience. To continue that momentum of the Chill and Spill initiative, LeBow College of Business would like to announce a search for great ideas and suggestions from our students. The student with the winning idea/suggestion that get implemented by the College will receive a $500 gift card to Barnes and Noble! Ideas and suggestions can be emailed to lebowidea@lebow.drexel.edu or placed in a drop box in the Dean’s Office, 1st floor Matheson Hall.

The Chill and Spill table is an excellent way for students to get involved in the continual improvement of the educational experience and student satisfaction at LeBow and we encourage all to stop by.
