Wall Street 2020

Tuesday, April 21

5:30 p.m.

AJ Drexel Gallery

Have you ever wondered what caused the mess on Wall Street? Are you concerned about the economy’s current state and/or outlook for the future? If you answered yes to either of those questions, you do not want to miss Wall Street 2020: The Future of the Economy. Presented by the Drexel Finance Association and Drexel Economic Society

It is no secret the current state of the economy has put a debilitating strain on every class of citizen; whether young or old, rich or poor, few have been spared.

At a time when many Americans are worried about the present, the DFA and DES pose the question: what about our future?

Wall Street 2020 will address a variety of topics including the current economic climate, but the event will more importantly focus on the future of the financial markets within the next decade.

An expert panel, featuring a mix of both professionals and educators, will facilitate the event:

Dr. Richard W. Lang: Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Executive Vice President

Mr. Robert J. Delany, Sr. (’89, ‘96): Sciens Capital Management, Chief Financial Officer

Josh Hall, Drexel University, PhD Student

Dr. David Becher: Drexel University, Finance Professor

*Students are invited to submit questions for the panel to dufinance@gmail.com by March 20, 2009

A networking reception will follow. To register, visit http://www.lebow.drexel.edu/event/ws2020

If you have any questions, please contact Cassandra Brown at clb87@drexel.edu or 215.895.6294
